Painesville City Fire Department Fire Corps

The Painesville City Fire Department has registered its own Fire Corps program.  The Fire Corps is a program under the Department of Homeland Security.  The Fire Corps was begun in 2004 under then President George W. Bush.   The concept is to strengthen this Country and the local communities by getting residents involved in the local fire department.

The Department held its first informational meeting on November 3rd, 2012.  Sixteen individuals attended and a number of applications were received.  The department is reviewing the applications, interviewing the individuals and working to place those interested and qualified in volunteer positions.

For more information you may visit www.firecorps.org or contact the Painesville City Fire Department at 440-392-5852.  You may also find the necessary forms for the Fire Corps on the forms for the Fire Department page.
