Painesville’s Water Pollution Control Plant accepts trucked waste (septage) from permitted waste haulers. Haulers can receive a permit by submitting a permit application along with the applicable fees and documentation. We do not accept grease trap waste or any waste, including domestic septage waste, that is determined by the superintendent or designee to cause harm to the operation of the wastewater plant. 
 
The City of Painesville requires all septage haulers to be licensed by the State of Ohio. Fees and applicable discharge costs are available in Septage Haulers Application Packet. Friday

Saturday

7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
