The Painesville City Manager's Office consists of the City Manager, Assistant City Manger, Law Director, Public Information Officer and Executive Admin. The office is reachable Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 440-392-5800.

Department Heads
The City's 12 department heads all report to the City Manager and manage the staff in each of their respective departments. Each department varies in size and structure based on the type of service provided. You can find more information on each department by going to the top navigation bar and browsing the 'Departments' tab.
The City Manager appoints each department head. Two or more departments may be headed by the same person under City Code. The City Manager and Assistant City Manager may also act as director of one or more departments, except that of Finance Director or Law Director.
