Don't miss early bird prices, February 3 through April 30! Painesville Recreation Summer Camp offers exciting camp activities that allow campers the opportunity to have fun, learn and grow. Our well-trained, dedicated and friendly camp counselors are always eager to help your child have a memorable summer experience.
Camp Basics
2025 Season: June 2 - August 1, 2025
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Before Care available 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.
- After Care available 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Ages: 6 to 12
Where: Chestnut Elementary and Elm Street Elementary in Painesville
2025 Field Trip Schedule
Trip schedule is subject to change (transportation issues, weather, river levels, health advisories, etc.)
- Week 1 (June 2 - June 6): Jordan Creek, Civic Center Pool, Sky Zone Trampoline Park
- Week 2 (June 9 - June 13): Penitentiary Glen, Civic Center Pool, Lake Erie College Equestrian Center
- Week 3 (June 16 - June 20): Lake Erie Bluffs, NO CAMP June 19, Swings-n-Things
- Week 4 (June 23 - June 27): Painesville Splash Pad, Civic Center Pool, Fairport Harbor Beach
- Week 5 (June 30 - July 3): Penitentiary Glen, Civic Center Pool, Adrenaline Monkey, NO CAMP July 4
- Week 6 (July 7 - July 11): Jordan Creek, Civic Center Pool, Cleveland Zoo
- Week 7 (July 14 - July 18): Painesville Splash Pad, Civic Center Pool, Fun ‘n’ Stuff
- Week 8 (July 21 - July 25): Chapin Forest, Civic Center Pool, Clay’s Jellystone Park
- Week 9 (July 28 - August 1): Painesville Splash Pad, Civic Center Pool, Video Game Truck
Pricing
Price includes all field trips, plus two camp t-shirts! Free lunch provided through PCLS Lunch Box Program.

- $145 for city resident/employee
- $160 for non-resident
2025 Camp Fee (May 1 – week prior to camp)
- $165 for city resident/employee
- $180 for non-resident
A week’s payment for camp (no matter what that first week is) is due at the time of registration. Roster spots will not be reserved until each week of camp payment is received and forms are returned to the Recreation Office. Once that first week of camp is paid for, remaining weeks can be paid on a week-by-week basis. However, until a week is paid for, the child’s “spot” is not reserved.

- Cash: In person only at 54 Mentor Ave, Painesville (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday)
- Check: Made out to City of Painesville. Drop off in person at 54 Mentor Ave, Painesville
- Credit Card: Must be completed in person. Please note, there is a 3.75% fee that cannot be waived

- Turn in forms and payment to the Painesville Recreation Office (in person only!)
- Payment options: cash, check (made out to the City of Painesville), or credit card (note, there is a 3.75% service fee for credit)
- Location: 54 Mentor Avenue (brown house next to the Fire Station). Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
