South State Street closure scheduled for September 2

South State Street will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, for storm sewer lining work.

The closure will extend from the East Walnut Avenue intersection south to the Five Points intersection at Cumings Road. The work has been scheduled between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to allow school bus traffic to travel through the area before and after the closure.

United Survey will establish the road closure and posted detours. Motorists should plan to use alternate routes during the work.
