Downtown tree project continues on June 8

Work will continue next week on the Painesville downtown tree replacement project along Main Street.

Beginning Monday, June 8, crews will remove the remaining tree stumps from the planting beds where several overgrown trees were recently removed. New trees will be planted shortly afterward as part of the project.

The work is expected to take approximately one week to complete. While Main Street will remain open to traffic, some parking spaces may be temporarily closed as crews work.

The City will work to minimize disruptions to downtown businesses and visitors throughout the project.
