Notice of Legislation Passed at the April 20, 2026 City Council Meeting

1. ORDINANCE 07-26 – An Ordinance amending appropriations for the current expenses and expenditures of the City of Painesville, State of Ohio for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026 and adopting the operating budget, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 03.16.26, 2nd Reading 04.06.26, 3rd Reading 4.20.26 PASSED 6-0)

2. ORDINANCE 08-26 – An Ordinance amending Section 167.09 of the Painesville Code of 1998 relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 04.20.26 PASSED 6-0)

3. RESOLUTION 22-26 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to advertise for bids and enter into a contract, including any and all ensuing change orders, with the lowest and best bidder for the construction of a skate park at Morse Avenue, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 04.20.26 PASSED 6-0)

4. RESOLUTION 23-26 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept funding from Lake County FY'2026 Community Block Grant Program for Housing Rehabilitation, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 04.20.26 PASSED 6-0)

5. RESOLUTION 24-26 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept funding from Lake County FY'2026 Community Block Grant Program for the purchase and installation of ADA Compliant Pedestrian Crosswalk Signals, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 04.20.26 PASSED 6-0)

6. RESOLUTION 25-26– A Resolution recognizing the responsibility of the City of Painesville to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 04.20.26 PASSED 6- 0)
