Please be aware that a scam letter from the "Painesville Area Volunteer Firefighter Alliance" out of Topeka, Kansas is being sent Painesville area residents asking for a donation of funds. The Painesville City Fire Department has no affiliation with the "Volunteer Firefighter Alliance." Please disregard any solicitation. The Painesville Police have been notified of this solicitation.
