Notice of Legislation Passed at the August 19, 2024 City Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Monday, August 19, 2024:

 

 

  1.  ORDINANCE 28-24 – An Ordinance amending Section 167.071 (G), of the Painesville Code of 1998 relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 07.15.24, 2nd Reading 08.19.24 PASSED 7-0)
  2. ORDINANCE 29-24 – An Ordinance amending Section 167.07, 167.09, 167.11, 167.12 and 167.34 of the Painesville Code of 1998 relating to the Classification and Compensation plan, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 08.19.24 PASSED 7-0)
  3. RESOLUTION 42-24 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept funding from the Ohio Department of Development Water and Wastewater Grants, for the purpose of updating and improving the current asset management program for the City Water Department, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 08.19.24 PASSED 7-0)
  4. RESOLUTION 43-24 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept financial assistance from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Nature Works Grant to be used towards the installation of a Skate Park, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 08.19.24 PASSED 7-0)
  5. RESOLUTION 44-24 – A Resolution supporting West Creek Conservancy’s Clean Ohio Greenspace Conservation Program FY25 grant application for the Grand River Casement Preserve project, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 08.19.24 PASSED 7-0)
