Now Accepting Applications for John F Clair Award

The City of Painesville Department of Economic Development is proud to announce the John F. Clair Economic Development Award. Councilman John Clair served the Painesville community throughout the late 80s and 90s and was truly a community leader and visionary who believed that Painesville was and could be much more than believed. It was his “never take no for an answer” attitude that helped with the retention and expansion the city's business community. It was John’s leadership, vision, novel approach and commitment to the growth of the City of Painesville that inspired the John F. Clair Economic Development Award.
