Road Work Update – August 17

Drivers should be aware of the following work locations and traffic restrictions in Painesville today:

Fobes Street
One-lane traffic restrictions are in place.

Oak Street
Oak Street is closed from the Fobes Street intersection through the end of the gravel roadway near the radio towers. The closure has been coordinated with Painesville Police and Fire.

East Erie Street
One-lane traffic restrictions are in place beginning at the Fobes Street intersection and proceeding east.

Elm Street
Elm Street is reduced to one lane. Work will proceed from the north side of the bridge south toward the Fobes Street/Oak Street intersection.

Emergency services will have full access to all work areas and will be accommodated with priority at all times.

Please use caution when traveling through these areas and allow extra time for possible delays.
