Total Solar Eclipse Event at Lake Erie College
Lake Erie College in collaboration with Painesville Recreation, presents a special Total Solar Eclipse viewing event on Monday, April 8 beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Jack Slattery Field on campus (391 W Washington Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077). Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy food trucks, a DJ and eclipse information for LEC's science experts! This event is FREE and OPEN to the public. Free eclipse glass available until supplies run out.
Food trucks include Cocky's Bagels, Barrio, F.A.T.S. on the Go and King Kone! Portable public restrooms will be available for visitors.

There are 3 options for this event:
PURPLE - On campus parking is the closest to the field but is limited to first come, first serve. These lots are available for $30 a vehicle.
ORANGE - The former Harvey High School lot off Washington Street is owned by LEC and will be available for $20 a vehicle,
BLUE - The churches located across from LEC on Mentor Ave have graciously offered their parking lots for free for guests. The Boy Scouts will be assisting traffic at one of the churches and will have a donation can available.
Any questions or concerns BEFORE the event regarding parking or assistance, please contact Lake Erie College Security Office at 440-375-7575. During the event, multiple student volunteer groups will be on hand to assist.
