It's the biggest party of the year and Ohio's largest free outdoor music festival! Three days of continuous live music from 12 noon to 12 midnight plus entertainment for the kids, good food and cold beverages. Join the Painesville Community Improvement Corporation (PCIC) for the annual Painesville Party in the Park, July 14-16.

Kids Activities

Party in the Park's Kids Fun Zone and Community Stage will keep the kiddos entertained with kid-friendly acts, inflatables, obstacle course, face painting and more! The Kids Zone is open from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14 and 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16.

Road Closure & Parking

N and S Park Place will close to all traffic starting Thursday, July 13 at 12 noon and will remain closed through the early morning hours of Monday, July 17. All street parking around the Square will be closed starting Wednesday, July 12 at 5:00 p.m.

Free parking for Party in the Park is available in four main areas: Job & Family Service lot off Main Street, the S St. Clair Street lot, the E Washington Street lot (former hospital site), and the Sterling lot off Sterling Avenue. Street parking and private lots will also be available. Please be aware of the increase in foot traffic in the downtown area and watch for pedestrians.

Rules & Guidelines

No pets, no dogs (except service dogs). We love our furry friends but this event is too crowded for pet and pedestrian safety
No outside food or beverages. Support our local vendors! All beer tent sales go back to PCIC to support next year's event
If standing is not your jam, bring your own chair for the Main Stage area. Some seating is available but limited.
This event is rain or shine, they keep playing! Exception would be for extreme weather (lightning storm, tornado, etc.)
