Notice of Legislation Passed at the January 27, 2025 City Council Meeting
Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Monday, January 27, 2025:
- ORDINANCE 02-25 – An Ordinance amending Chapter 929 of the Painesville Code of 1998 relating to Electric Service and Rates. (1st Reading 12.16.24, 2nd Reading 01.06.25, 3rd Reading 01.27.25 PASSED 6-0)
- RESOLUTION 07-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to advertise for bids and enter into a contract, including any and all ensuing change orders, with the lowest and best bidder for the 2025 Asphalt Resurfacing of Various Roads Project, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.27.25 PASSED 6-0)
- RESOLUTION 08-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to advertise for bids and enter into a contract, including any and all ensuing change orders, with the lowest and best bidder for the Elm Street Safe Routes to School Sidewalk Installation, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.27.25 PASSED 6-0)
- RESOLUTION 09-25 – A Resolution of the City of Painesville, located in Lake County of Ohio, supporting the Ohio Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (AMERICA250-OH), and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.27.25 PASSED 6-0)
- RESOLUTION 10-25 – A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a lease with Vic Place, LLC (“Lessee”) to lease approximately 0.94 acres of real property, with an option to purchase same, located at 66 South St. Clair Street in order to provide parking for the renovation and redevelopment of 100 South Park Place into a mixed use residential and retail restaurant building, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.27.25 PASSED 6-0)
