Spring Yard Waste Reminders
As a spring reminder, Republic Services collects yard waste from residential units on regularly-scheduled recycle collection days (bi-weekly) from April 1 through December 15. Yard waste must be containerized, bagged or tied into bundles that do not exceed four feet in length and four inches in diameter with limbs and branches. Yard waste includes:
- Grass clippings
- Leaves
- Shrub and tree pruning (excludes shrubs with root balls intact)
- Depleted garden and ornamental plants
- Christmas trees
