Party in the Park 2018

The Painesville Community Improvement Corporation (PCIC) will be hosting the 38th annual, all weekend long music festival, Party in the Park!

As always, Party in the Park will be held on the Painesville Square in Veterans Park showcasing Painesville’s beautiful and historic downtown. Party in the Park opens Friday, July 13 at 11:00 a.m. and closes Sunday, July 15 at midnight. Be sure to bring your appetites and thirst! Food vendors and adult beverages will be available all three nights, including the newest food vendor addition, Slyman’s Deli.

This free music festival features approximately 30 different music acts of various genres from both local and regional musicians. Back from last year, a jumbo TV screen will be featured to the right of the stage so everyone can see musical acts up close, with a large screen behind the performers as well. Stick around long enough and you may even get to watch yourself, friends and family on the big screen!

For the ultimate experience, purchase VIP tickets to secure a spot near the stage in a fenced in area with tables, chairs and private restrooms with a washing station. This year’s VIP co-host is Painesville’s own Local Tavern. VIP ticket price includes four adult drink tickets, seven tastings from Doc Howard Distillery and small plates from the Local Tavern. Go to www.painesvilleimprovement.com/party-in-the-park to purchase.

Party in the Park is more than just a night scene. Stop by in the afternoon with the little ones at the Community Stage. Acts include magicians, Jungle Terry, Dr. Insecta, face painting, dancing, yoga with Branches of Wellness and more. The Kids Zone features giant inflatables and interactive games that are free to all. Cars and drivers from the all new Painesville Speedway will also be on hand. Patrolling the park this year will be two mounted police officers and our local police force distributing “kid swag” from a grant provided by PCIC.
