Traffic restrictions and road closure for August 10

PAINESVILLE, Ohio — Motorists should be aware of several traffic restrictions and a road closure today, Monday, August 10, as work continues in the area.

Fobes Street: One-lane traffic restrictions are in place.

Oak Street: Oak Street is closed from the Fobes Street intersection through the end of the gravel roadway near the radio towers. The closure has been coordinated with Painesville Police and Fire personnel.

East Erie Street: One-lane traffic restrictions are in place beginning at the Fobes Street intersection and continuing east.

Elm Street: Traffic is reduced to one lane as work proceeds from the north side of the bridge moving south.

Emergency services will have full access to all work areas and will be given priority as needed.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through these areas and allow additional time for possible delays.
