Notice of Legislation Passed at the January 6, 2025 City Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Monday, January 6, 2025:

  1. ORDINANCE 01-25 – An Ordinance amending Chapter 165 – Electric Committee to change the title and purpose of the Electric Committee to a Utility Committee, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.06.25 PASSED 6-0)
  2. RESOLUTION 01-25 – A Resolution approving the creation of the Senior Citizen Services Fund, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.06.25 PASSED 6-0)
  3. RESOLUTION 02-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to enter into an amended development agreement with Grand River Walk, LLC for the purposes of development at 257 East Main Street, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.06.25 PASSED 6-0)
  4. RESOLUTION 03-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to enter into a Land Purchase Agreement with Grand River Walk, LLC for the sale of certain real property pursuant to the terms of the Development Agreement, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.06.25 PASSED 6-0)
  5. RESOLUTION 04-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept funding from the Ohio EPA, for the purpose of Source Water Protection Program improvements, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.06.25 PASSED 6-0)
  6. RESOLUTION 05-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to advertise for bids and enter into a contract, including any and all ensuing change orders, with the lowest and best bidder for Crile Water Tank repairs and painting, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.06.25 PASSED 6-0)
  7. RESOLUTION 06-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to submit an application and enter into an agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation for funding through the Pedestrian & Bicycle Special Solicitation Program for South St. Clair Street Streetscape and Safety Improvements, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.06.25 PASSED 6-0)
