Notice of Legislation Passed at the June 1, 2026 City Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on June 1, 2026

1. ORDINANCE 15-26 – An Ordinance amending Section 167.07 of the Painesville Code of 1998 relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan reclassing the City Engineer, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.01.26 PASSED 6-0)

2. RESOLUTION 33-26 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept funding from the FEMA S.A.F.E.R. Grant, for the purpose of hiring additional fire personnel, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.01.26 PASSED 6-0)

3. RESOLUTION 34-26 – A Resolution authorizing the payment of a specific invoice with "Then and Now" Certificates, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.01.26 PASSED 6-0) 4.
