Jefferson Street to close temporarily for Skate Park storm sewer connection

Jefferson Street will be closed between West Prospect Street and Axtell Street beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, through the end of the day Tuesday, July 14, to allow crews to connect a storm sewer as part of the Painesville City Skate Park Project.

The closure is limited to the section of Jefferson Street between West Prospect Street and Axtell Street. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and should expect minor delays in the area.

The Morse Avenue Community Center will remain open throughout the project, and access to the community center parking lot will be maintained.
