Notice of Legislation Passed at the February 17, 2026 City Council Meeting
Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Tuesday, February 17, 2026:
1. ORDINANCE 03-26 –An Ordinance amending the District Map and the Setback Map referred to in Section 1113.03 of the Painesville Code of 1998 Rezoning a 5-acre portion of Permanent Parcel Numbers 35-A-001-0-00-019-0, and 15-C-036-H-00-036-0 located at Shamrock Boulevard, from B-2, General Business District, to B-1, Business/Residential District.(1st Reading01.20.26, 2nd Reading 02.02.26, 3rd Reading 02.17.26 PASSED 6-0)
2. ORDINANCE 04-26–An Ordinance amending appropriations for the current expenses and expenditures of the City of Painesville, State of Ohio for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026 and adopting the operating budget, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.17.26 PASSED 6-0)
3. RESOLUTION 08-26– A Resolution approving the creation of the PACE Equity Assessment Agency Fund for the 2026 Operating Budget, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.17.26 PASSED 6-0)
4. RESOLUTION 09-26– A Resolution authorizing the payment of specific invoices with "Then and Now" Certificates, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.17.26 PASSED 6-0)
5. RESOLUTION 10-26– A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept funding from the Ohio Department of Transportation Safe Routes to Schools Grant, for the purpose of supporting a Safety Town Program, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.17.26 PASSED 6-0)
6. RESOLUTION 11-26– A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to advertise and to enter into a contract, including any and all ensuing change orders, with the lowest and best bidder for police patrol car upfitting and outfitting, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.17.26 PASSED 6-0)
