New Painesville Police Sergeant Sworn In

On Thursday, Sergeant Josh Rogers of the Painesville Police Department was sworn in by Judge Mike Cicconetti at Painesville Municipal Courthouse.

Present at the ceremony included Police Chief Dan Waterman (pictured), wife Vanessa Rogers, family members and members of the Painesville City Police Department.

Rogers joined the Painesville City Police Department as an officer in January 2010 from the East Cleveland Police Department. He is a member of the SWAT team, training officer in defensive tactics and one of Painesville’s first bike patrolmen.
