Notice of Legislation Passed at the March 18, 2024 City Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Monday, March 18, 2024:

 

 

  1. ORDINANCE 06-24 – An Ordinance amending Chapter 518 Animals of the Painesville Code of 1998, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 03.18.24 PASSED 6-0)
  2. ORDINANCE 07-24 – An Ordinance to authorize additional inter-fund transfers and advances of funds for current expenses and other expenditures of the City of Painesville, State of Ohio during the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 03.18.24 PASSED 6-0) 
  3. ORDINANCE 08-24 – An Ordinance to make amended appropriations and to authorize additional inter-fund transfers and advances for current expenses and other expenditures of the City of Painesville, State of Ohio during the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023, and amending the original appropriations for the 2023 Operating Budget, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 03.18.24 PASSED 6-0)
  4. RESOLUTION 18-24 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept funding from the FEMA S.A.F.E.R. Grant, for the purpose of hiring additional fire personnel, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 03.18.24 PASSED 6-0)
  5. RESOLUTION 19-24 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with PFund Superior Sales, for the purpose of re-mounting a 2015 Life Line Victory liner ambulance body, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 03.18.24 PASSED 6-0)
  6. RESOLUTION 20-24 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the Lake County Board of Commissioners (“agreement”) to accept American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for two (2) improvements within the City of Painesville, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 03.18.24 PASSED 6-0)
