Lake Erie College's Run the Swamp 5K is Saturday, April 27

On Saturday, April 27 at 8:00 a.m., Lake Erie College will be hosting their second annual Run for the Swamp 5K in Painesville. The course takes participants down Mentor Avenue, Wood Street, Champion Drive, W South Street, Marion Avenue, Lake Metropark’s Greenway Corridor, Gillett Street, W Walnut Avenue, Levan Drive and the Lake Erie College campus.

Volunteers will be out along the course to help direct participants. No roads will be closed for this event, but motorists are asked to please give participants plenty of space and to use caution.  For more information on the event, please contact Leah Jackson, college events director, at 440-375-7223.
