How to Reach the Utilities Office During Covid-19

Due to the Governor’s orders to stay at home, many city offices with non-essential employees will be at reduced staff. The Utilities Payment office will have reduced staffing hours until further notice. These hours are subject to change.

  • Mondays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (exception - no hours on Thursday, March 26)

With City Hall not open to foot traffic, you can call 440-392-5797 to speak to someone in the utilities office during the above hours.

  • There will be no in-person option for utility bills until further notice. Because of this, there will be no cash option. DO NOT mail or leave cash in the drop box! If you only can pay cash, you will have to get a money order or cashier’s check and mail or drop off.
  • Because we are limiting your available payment options, we are waiving all late fees until we can proceed under normal operations. We CANNOT waive the credit card charge ($4.95) via Official payments as that is the actual cost they charge to use the service.
  • We are suspending all water and electric disconnections until further notice.
