Notice of Legislation Passed at the June 16, 2025 City Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Monday, June 16, 2025:

  1. ORDINANCE 18-25 – An Ordinance to approve and adopt the 2025A Codified Ordinances including new matter contained therein, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.16.25 PASSED 6-0)
  2. ORDINANCE 19-25 – An Ordinance amending Section 167.07 of the Painesville Code of 1998 relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.16.25 PASSED 6-0)
  3. ORDINANCE 20-25 – An Ordinance approving a Tax Increment Financing Cooperative Agreement and a Tax Lien Sales Agreement for the Victoria Place Urban Redevelopment Tax Increment Equivalent Fund, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.16.25 PASSED 6-0)
  4. RESOLUTION 35-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept funding from the FEMA S.A.F.E.R. Grant, for the purpose of hiring additional fire personnel, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.16.25 PASSED 6-0)
  5. RESOLUTION 36-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to enter into a real estate purchase agreement to acquire certain real properties located in the City of Painesville, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.16.25 PASSED 6-0)
  6. RESOLUTION 37-25 – A Resolution approving the Lake County 911 Plan pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Chapter 128, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.16.25 PASSED 6-0)
