Background
This past September, we celebrated the completion of the Creating Healthy Communities Competitive Grant received by the LCGHD by the Ohio Department of Health and installed new playground equipment at Huntington Park for local kids to enjoy.
Earlier in 2025, LCGHD went to Elm Elementary to ask students what they would like to see in the park. The final result was new swings, including a inclusive swing, and a rock climbing wall.
A huge thank you to LCGHD's Tiffany Wurts for running this initiative and our parks crew for installing the fall zones to keep everyone safe.
