City Council Accepting Applications for Boards

The City of Painesville is currently accepting resumes for those interested in serving on the Planning Commission for a six (6) year term or the Board of Zoning Appeals for a (5) year term. Planning Commission


Planning Commission is comprised of five (5) members appointed by City Council. They are responsible for adopting rules and regulations not inconsistent with the City Charter and Ordinances and meet once a month. Resumes should be submitted to Painesville City Hall, 7 Richmond Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077 no later than Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 p.m.  
 

Board of Zoning Appeals


The Board of Zoning Appeals is comprised of five (5) members appointed by City Council. They are responsible for interpretation of the District Map, administrative review and variances. The board meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Resumes should be submitted to Painesville City Hall , 7 Richmond Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077 no later than Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 p.m.
