Notice of Legislation Passed at the August 17, 2026 City Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Monday, August 17, 2026:

1. ORDINANCE 19-26 – An Ordinance amending appropriations for the current expenses and other expenditures of the City of Painesville, State of Ohio for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026 and adopting the operating budget, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 08.17.26 PASSED 6-0)

2. RESOLUTION 41-26 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to enter into a Real Estate Purchase Agreement with the Lake County Land Bank to acquire the property located at 260 Richmond Street, Painesville, Ohio, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 07.20.26, 2nd Reading 08.17.26 PASSED 6-0)

3. RESOLUTION 42-26 – A Resolution authorizing the payment of a specific invoice with "Then and Now" Certificates, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 08.17.26 PASSED 6-0)

4. RESOLUTION 43-26 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to enter into a Development Agreement and an amended Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions with Shamrock Commercial LLC for the purposes of development of 31.23± acres on Shamrock Boulevard, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 08.17.26 PASSED 6-0)
