Notice of Legislation Passed at the May 5, 2025 City Council Meeting
Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Monday, May 5, 2025:
- RESOLUTION 29-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to advertise for bids and enter into a contract, including any and all ensuing change orders, with the lowest and best bidder for construction of an amphitheater and related work, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 04.07.25, 2nd Reading 04.22.25, 3rd Reading 05.05.25 PASSED 5-0)
- RESOLUTION 30-25 – A Resolution recognizing the responsibility of the City of Painesville to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 05.05.25 PASSED 6-0)
- RESOLUTION 31-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept funding from Lake County FY’2025 Community Block Grant Program for the Painesville Amphitheater Project, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 05.05.25 PASSED 6-0)
- RESOLUTION 32-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for and accept financial assistance from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Nature Works Grant to be used towards the installation of a Zipline Adventure Area and a pavilion, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 05.05.25 PASSED 6-0)
- RESOLUTION 33-25 – A Resolution designating Huntington Bank as a public depository of the City’s active and interim deposits, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 05.05.25 PASSED 6-0)
