Notice of Legislation Passed at the June 20, 2024 City Council Meeting
Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Thursday, June 20, 2024:
- ORDINANCE 23-24 – An Ordinance to extend the moratorium on new establishments that sell or distribute electronic smoking devices and/or vapor products in the City of Painesville, Ohio, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.03.24, 2nd Reading 06.17.24, 3rd Reading 06.20.24 PASSED 5-1)
- ORDINANCE 24-24 – An Ordinance extending a 6 month moratorium on the acceptance and processing of applications for zoning and/or occupancy permit approvals for cannabis operations, including medical marijuana operations within the city and the issuance of such approvals in the City of Painesville, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.03.24, 2nd Reading 06.17.24,3rd Reading 06.20.24 PASSED 6-0)
- ORDINANCE 25-24 – An Ordinance amending section 167.071 (D), of the Painesville Code of 1998 relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.17.24, 2nd Reading 06.20.24 PASSED 6-0)
- RESOLUTION 35-24 – A Resolution authorizing the adoption of an alternative method of apportioning the Local Government Fund, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 06.17.24, 2nd Reading 06.20.24 PASSED 6-0)
