Painesville Launches New 311 Service

On Tuesday, April 15, the City of Painesville announced the launch of their new online 311 service. This online system allows residents, business owners and visitors to report concerns and request city services via the online platform. The new 311 platform allows users to submit requests related to public works, city parks, code enforcement, utility service and more.

Features of the 311 system include the ability to attach photos or videos to a request and the ability to stay anonymous if the user does not wish to have follow up communication. Painesville 311 is integrated with Google Maps, allowing users to drop a pin on the exact location of their request or concern.

“In the past, we offered an online portal for residents to report issues, but it was not widely used and the technology became outdated,” said Doug Lewis, Painesville City Manager. “The new Painesville 311 is easy to use on your computer, tablet or phone and is also an improved experience internally for staff responding to service requests.”

The Painesville 311 system can be accessed on the home page of www.painesville.com or by visiting the portal directly at painesvilleoh.qscend.com/311. Service requests are answered during business hours which are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is important to note that Painesville 311 is not for emergency use or to report a crime. In the event of an emergency always dial 9-1-1.
