New Shamrock Blvd Water Line Project
In 2021, the City of Painesville received a U.S. Congressional appropriation through the Community Funding Projects in the amount of $570,000 to extend a 12" water line from Renaissance Parkway under SR-44 to Shamrock Blvd. The total project cost is $896,000.
It was designed and engineering in 2022 by Mannick and Smith. Bidding of the project will occur this April 2023, with construction starting in June 2023. Estimated project timeline is three months. The new water line will provide looping of the water lines in the area to ensure much needed redundancy, improving quality and water pressure to meet the future demands of the area for any economic development that may occur. The line will service approximately 4,800 residents.
