Dominion Gas Line Pressure Testing
Starting Friday, July 29, residents and businesses north of Jackson Street are advised that Dominion Gas will be performing a gas pressure hydrotest project over the coming weeks in the Painesville and Painesville Township area. This testing requires the release of natural gas. Those in the area may experience a gas smell as the pipes are bled. The smell should not last for more than a few hours.
The Painesville City Fire Department is aware of the project and will be monitoring the process. Please do not call 911 unless you are having an emergency. Work in this area should last approximately two weeks with minimal impact. Gas service will not be affected.
