Notice of Legislation Passed at the February 18, 2025 City Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given that Painesville City Council adopted the following legislation on Tuesday, February 18, 2025:

1. ORDINANCE 04-25 – An Ordinance amending Section 937.57(a) of the Code of Ordinances relating to Sewer Rates, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.27.25, 2nd Reading 02.03.25, 3rd Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
2. ORDINANCE 05-25 – An Ordinance amending Section 933.19 of the Code of Ordinances relating to Water Service Rates, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.27.25, 2nd Reading 02.03.25, 3rd Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
3. ORDINANCE 06-25 – An Ordinance to approve and adopt the 2025 Codified Ordinances including new matter contained therein, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
4. ORDINANCE 07-25 – An Ordinance amending appropriations and to authorize additional inter-fund transfers and advances for current expenses and other expenditures of the City of Painesville, State of Ohio during the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2025 and adopting the operating budget, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
5. ORDINANCE 08-25 – An Ordinance amending Section 167.141 of the Painesville Code of 1998 relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
6. ORDINANCE 09-25 – An Ordinance amending Section 167.07 of the Painesville Code of 1998 relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
7. RESOLUTION 12-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to approve remaining funding needed to complete AMI deployment including the Master Services Agreement and Amendments for participation in the Advanced Metering Infrastructure Program by and between American Municipal Power, Inc. and the City of Painesville, Ohio, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 01.27.25, 2nd Reading 02.03.25, 3rd Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
8. RESOLUTION 13-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to advertise and to enter into a contract, including any and all ensuing change orders, with the lowest and best bidder for police patrol car upfitting and outfitting, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.03.25, 2nd Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
9. RESOLUTION 14-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager, or his Designee, to obtain quotes for the Police Office Upgrades, and to authorize the purchase of said upgrades from the lowest and best quote, including any and all ensuing change orders, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
10. RESOLUTION 15-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to advertise and to enter into a contract, including any and all ensuing change orders, with the lowest and best bidder for Police Intersection Crime Camera System Expansion, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
11. RESOLUTION 16-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to enter into an Industrial Facility Expansion Agreement with Weaver Meats, Inc. for the purposes of development at 380 Fountain Avenue, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
12. RESOLUTION 17-25 – A Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager to enter into a Real Estate Purchase Option Agreement to acquire certain real property located in the City of Painesville, and declaring an emergency. (1st Reading 02.18.25 PASSED 6-0)
