Alarm Registration

Any Painesville City resident or business with an alarm system should register their security and/or fire alarm with the PPD in case of emergency. This alarm registration must be renewed annually by January 31. The completed Alarm Registration Form may be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 440-352-2609. 

 
Please note, there is no fee for this registration service, however, any residential or business alarms exceeding 3 false alarms per/year will begin to receive fines after the third false alarm ranging from $25 to $200. Any medical alarms are exempted from these fines. See the form for more information.
