The Utilities Billing Office is proud to provide you with a convenient, paperless bill by email offering a secure and environmentally friendly way to receive your monthly utility bill. 

*** Due to a software update, those who receive electronic Painesville utility bills (email) should be aware of a new sender address. Bills are now being sent from [email protected]. Previously, bills came from the [email protected] email address. Please do not delete or mark these emails as spam. The City of Painesville is working with the software company to update the email address so it will more clearly represent Painesville Utilities. Thank you for your patience.

How to Enroll 


  • Call our office at 440-392-5797 to register. Please have your account number ready. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • You can also enroll via the online Customer Portal. Once you sign in, go to 'Contact Preferences' on the left-side navigation bar. Select "Signup for e-Billing" and add the email address you would like to receive your bill each month to. 

 

How to Cancel 


Please contact our office at 440-392-5797 to cancel your paperless billing option at anytime. Simply state you would like to cancel the paperless option and have your account number ready. Your request will be reflected during the next month's billing process. You can also change your billing preferences via the online Customer Portal (see above).
