Each year, sponsorships and donations play a major role in the success in Painesville Recreation Department events and programs, as well as the Painesville Economic Development Department's goal to bring businesses together. Our goal is to host free community events and programs available to all members of our community, especially families. This is only made possible through the generous support of local business and organizations. Painesville City events are well-managed, well-attended and most importantly, supported by the entire Painesville community. The information below details some of the sponsorship opportunities available. The City of Painesville reserves the right to decline sponsorship.
How Event Sponsorships Work
- Take a look at the listed events and the sponsorship levels available. Events are managed through different city departments. While many fall under Painesville Recreation, some events are managed by the Economic Development Office, the City Manager's Office and the Painesville Police Department.
- Fill out the 2026 Event Sponsorship Form and submit to the listed contact for each event.
- Please send a .png, .jpg or vector file of the logo you would like associated with your sponsorship to [email protected]

Farmers Market

Fall Chili Cook Off
Painesville Square

It's time for the annual Cook Off! Residents and visitors are welcome to enter their best chili for six coveted award categories voted on by judges and popular choice. This event is held in Painesville Square with LIVE college football on our giant video truck screen to set the mood.

Fall Fest
Kiwanis Recreation Park
2 to 5 p.m.
Painesville Fall Fest has become one of our most popular events of the calendar year, with families coming down to Rec Park for an afternoon full of free, fall family fun. Activities include hayrides, trunk or treat, pumpkin decorating, Halloween-themed games and prizes. The event hosts up to 5,000 visitors in a three-hour span. Food Truck Vendors, apply here. Community Clean Up Day & Shred Day

In the Spring, the Painesville community comes together to pick up litter and clean up common areas around town to improve our community and help the environment! All Community Clean Up Day registered volunteers receive a free t-shirt which includes sponsor logos on the back. In the Fall, a community shred day will take place

Spirit of the Season

One of the most popular kids events in the city, Spirit of the Season in Painesville Square features the official tree lighting, Santa Claus' North Pole workshop, horse and carriage rides around the Square, dance performances, a live reindeer, and holiday-themed crafts and games.

State of the City Breakfast
Steele Mansion
8 to 10 a.m.
Join City Manager Doug Lewis for breakfast and a presentation on what to look forward to in 2027 in the City of Painesville. This invite only event is for developers, business owners and local officials. "It's happening in Painesville!"

Painesville Egg Hunt
Painesville's annual spring tradition! Depending on the springtime weather, 300-900 children and their families gather to search for candy filled eggs in Painesville Square. Special eggs contain tickets for large basket prizes and the Easter Bunny makes an appearance in Painesville Square.

Summer Concert Series
Painesville's Summer Concert Series is held on Wednesday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Painesville City's Grand Amphitheater. Concert crowds range from a few hundred to over a thousand depending on the band and their following. Food Truck Vendors, apply here.

Movie in the Park
Painesville Recreation’s Movie Night is an annual summer event bringing over 500 residents to Painesville Square to enjoy a family-friendly movie displayed on a large LED screen. This event if FREE to the community.
